- Focus on using the lowest cost methods first. Your first “Advertisement” should be a website.
- Almost everything about your website can be “Free” but do not use free hosting or “Free” listings. The price you pay for “Free” is usually your time.
- You should have an Edit Button (and probably training). WordPress on your company’s own hosting account is the way to go.
- In the beginning, just start by supplying complete information–don’t sweat anything else. Informational Advertising attracts the search engines and that is how people find you.
- Grow the resources IN Your Business: skills, tools, and confidence–including your employees, software, co-op methods, results tracking. Just grab the resources and bring them into your business.
- Improve your Ad Placement through practice with your website’s real world results. How many people that see a link to your site actually click that link?
- Improve your Ad Messages through practice with your website’s real world results. How many people that visit your site actually buy something.
- Now that you know how to see results, you can think over ways to improve your placements and messages by learning some of the advanced topics of marketing your business. What kind of aspirational customers are a fit for you? Which market segments should you speak to?
- Congratulate yourself and your staff for succeeding in taking control of your advertising.
- Now take what you have learned and create other low cost kinds of advertising: print, direct mail, TV, Radio… once you get the hang of it, it’s kind of like shampooing. Lather, rinse, repeat. Lather rinse repeat.

It’s important for you to be able to use your logo in any way that you want. One of our favorite cost reduction tricks is to re-use logo imagery in more than one way. If your Logo is created using the right tools, the image can be used throughout your marketing materials. Here’s a quick slide show demonstrating a couple of simple design riffs with our own logo. Another technique that we use is to break apart pieces of the logo and use it as graphics on your Southern Oregon Website. We use the “gear” part of our own logo frequently to help explain what we do.

NeighborWave uses the right tools. In the case of logos, the right tool is usually a vector graphics editor. The difference between Vector and Bitmap Tools is how big or small you can make the image.

We call this “Set It and Forget It” because the only thing you will need to do is pick your monthly budgets. We work on different ad variations and targeting based on geography or user interest and then we tune results. We even include work that “turns away” bad leads that cost you money without creating sales!
Set It and Forget It. $400. This is a complete package of highly targeted pay per click campaigning done over 3 months. Your are welcome to join us on the phone while we do this work–this is excellent free training. We create the ads, test results and find you new customers. By the end of month 3, your AdWords will take care of itself. You can also buy months separately but there is no training for you with the smaller budget.
- New Account Setup. $100. This is literally the setup of the AdWords account with some targeting and several ad variations.
- First Month Monitoring. $100. We follow up that ad creation work in your account and react to your real market by trying different ad variations and targeting techniques.
- Second Month Monitoring. $100. By now we have identified most of your competitors and how to get your ad visible. Importantly during this month, we have enough information to start “turning away” bad leads through precise ad variations. There is no point paying for clicks that don’t become customers–so we work to “turn away” people that won’t buy from you.
- Third Month Monitoring. $100. During this month we set budgets and tune the targeting. We’ll set up your pay per click accounts so that no one needs to do daily management–you’ll know that your ads really do make you money.

Logos , or Corporate Identity Artwork, are the creation of an image to represent your company. The styles and types can very wildly and it’s not possible for us to demo every possible logo type here. What we can do is tell you how we work with logos.
Logo Design. $600-800. There is a little variation in our prices depending on how many initial sketches of your logo you want to see. We do not make little junky clip-art web only style logos. Each Sketch costs $200 with a minimum of 3 sketches. The final version is included in the price.
We Design Logos so that they can be used everywhere. We work using the right methods so that you get Usability and Readability in EVERY part of your marketing. Your logo needs to be clear on your website, but also available for a billboard, or a newsletter, or just your business cards and letterhead.
